Description
The management of increased intracranial pressure (ICP) in patients with brain injuries is complex and requires an individualized approach. Traditional management strategies for patients with increased ICP have focused on treatment thresholds based on a defined value. Research demonstrates that real time monitoring of waveform data can yield important information regarding brain compliance and treatment of the underlying pathology to improve patient outcomes. This program will describe clinical strategies to leverage advanced analytics in ICP monitoring to influence care in the intensive care unit (ICU).
